Perley Rideau sits, set back on a 25-acre site adjacent to Ottawa’s largest hospital and is a welcoming community and home to over 600 seniors and Veterans.

Perley Rideau serves a range of seniors and Veterans along a full continuum of care.  

IT OFFERS 450 LONG-TERM CARE BEDS, 139 SENIORS INDEPENDENT-LIVING APARTMENTS AND A 12 ROOM RESPITE GUEST HOUSE FOR PERSONS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA.

Perley Rideau has a long history of welcoming proud Veterans of all branches of Canada’s military. Honouring their bravery and service to Canada and Canadians is a treasured part of Perley Rideau’s heritage and culture. It is also a source of considerable pride that Perley Rideau is one of the few centres in the country that has earned the trust of Veterans Affairs Canada in being assigned to care for aging Veterans.
